Patriotic Bitch, was created in 2007 but feels as timely and topical as ever.
"The image features actress, Alanna Ubach. The body painting is by Joanne Gair who is best known for her iconic Vanity Fair cover with Demi Moore. It took about 9 hours in make-up and the original body painting was flawless. I shot several frames of Alanna that looked great, but the vibe was too “clean”. I grabbed a spritzer bottle and a towel and started to smear Joanne's beautiful work. She seemed a bit shocked at first but, in the end, agreed that the distressed look was perfect for the shot. The explosion effect was created by Joe Viskocil, the guy who blew up the Death Star in Star Wars and the White House in Independence Day. Hair by Brad Bowman."—Glen Wexler
